...read more » Recently, there was report on the detention at Prey Speu Center of four AIDS-infected female entertainment service workers needing medicine for treatment. Amongst the four, one who just gave birth through caesarean section about 26 days ago, needed treatment for both herself and her baby. Concerning the above-mentioned matter, His Excellency Dr. Tea Phalla, Deputy Chair of the National AIDS Authority, in collaboration with Mrs. Kev Tha, coordinator of the WNU (Women Network for Unity), conducted a fact-finding mission and found that:
1. Up until February 1, there were 18 female entertainment service workers at Prey Speu Center, and amongst them only nine having children under one year old with them.

3 ...read more » On January 26, 2016, from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at National AIDS Authority Headquarter a meeting of the Executive Committee of GFATM Country Coordination committee (CCC) and the delegation of Global Fund Against AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM), led by Ms. Nicole Delaney and Ms. Qi Cui, Fund Portfolios Managers and their assistants, was held under the presidency of H.E Ieng Mouly, Senior Minister, Chair of the National AIDS Authority and Chair of CCC. It is to note that GFATM programs in Cambodia is now classified as one among high impact Countries which will receive more investment from GFATM in human resources like Thailand or the Philippines.
