On 10th May 2016, at Phnom Penh hotel, H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the NAA and Chair of the CCC was invited as honorary guest to the opening ceremony of the dissemination of the evaluation result of the CCC and to guide and recommend the performance of the new elected CCC members. Generally, CCC is a committee consisting of members who represents government ministry or institution, UN representative, Embassy representative as donor to GFATM, civil society representative and PLHIV, TB and malaria representative. In the morning on 9 May 2016, at Cambodiana hotel, H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the NAA was invited as honorary guest to the opening ceremony of the national consultative meeting to prepare Cambodia declaration to UN meeting that will be organized in June in New York. The consultative meeting was initiated by the NAA in collaboration with the UNAIDS to Cambodia. The objective of the meeting is to collect input on updating, identifying, and determining the problem relating to HIV and AIDS response in Cambodia that could be used to prepare policy to end HIV transmission by 2025 for Cambodia and to share at the UN high level meeting to prepare political declaration to meet Three Zeros by 2030. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority, led a National AIDS Authority leadership delegation to pay a visit to children living with HIV and orphaned children, whose parents have died from AIDS, currently under care of the Child Care Center of the Salvation Center Cambodia (SCC) in the afternoon of March 3, 2016. The SCC executive director briefed the head of the delegation of the background and activities of the organization in response to and prevention of HIV transmission in the community since 1999, when Cambodia was severely ravaged by AIDS. The SCC had taken part in providing support and assistance to the communities in raising and caring for 250 vulnerable children, including 97 living with HIV.
