 Senior Minister His Excellency Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority, led a top management meeting of the authority at its headquarters on the morning of Monday, September 2, 2019 to update the work activities carried out in August and map out plan of action for the subsequent month.
Present at the meeting were Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, ladies, and gentlemen, the vice chairs, advisers, secretary general, deputy secretary general, and department heads and deputy heads as well as public servants of the National AIDS Authority.

He briefed the delegation of the background, roles, and operations of the National AIDS Authority, a multisectoral entity with national and subnational networks for carrying out the work to respond to HIV/AIDS. The workshop was attended by Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, ladies, and gentlemen representing government institutions; representatives of the Cambodian People Living with HIV Network (CPN+), FHI360/Linkages, USAIDS, and other related sectors.
The main purpose of the workshop is to disseminate the results of the indicative inquiry in the stigma against HIV carriers in Cambodia.

Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority, has said that the number of AIDS-infected people in the province has declined.
Speaking on the afternoon of August 13, 2019, H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly went on to state that even though the rate of AIDS-infected has decreased, it should not be underestimated.
