Senior Minister His Excellency Ieng Mouly Leads August 2019 Meeting of National AIDS Authority
Senior Minister His Excellency Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority, led a top management meeting of the authority at its headquarters on the morning of Monday, September 2, 2019 to update the work activities carried out in August and map out plan of action for the subsequent month.
Present at the meeting were Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, ladies, and gentlemen, the vice chairs, advisers, secretary general, deputy secretary general, and department heads and deputy heads as well as public servants of the National AIDS Authority.
The items on the agenda include:
1. Report of the General Secretariat presented by Secretary General His Excellency Teng Kunthy.
2. Presentation by His Excellency Tea Phalla, vice chair of the National AIDS Authority:
a. Updating the spread of HIV and responses nationwide and cases concerning some provinces.
b. Giving remarks in response to the Fifth National Strategic Plan on the fight against AIDS.
3. Recommendations made by Senior Minister His Excellency the Chair of the National AIDS Authority.
His Excellency the Senior Minister extolled all of the leading managers and civil servants of the National AIDS Authority for their efforts in the performance of their duties, achieving successes in August. He also asked and reminded them to continue diligently carrying out the assigned tasks by monitoring the coordination, implementation, and results; searching for solutions to technical mechanisms and interinstitutional, multisectoral policies, and requesting principles from the National AIDS Authority leadership in conformity with the Royal Government’s advisory notification.
Moreover, His Excellency the Chair reminded all the leading managers and officials to abide by and strengthen work discipline, nurture solidarity and internal unity, participate in all the institutional tasks, present reports to the Cabinet of His Excellency the Chair, and request views/decisions or supports from Senior Minister His Excellency the Chair of the National Authority.
