NAA Monthly Top Management Meeting of December 2014

On December 31, 2014, at the National AIDS Authority (NAA) head office in Phnom Penh, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of H. E. Ieng Mouly, Senior Minister in charge of special mission of the Royal Government of Cambodia and Chairman of the NAA. The participants in the meeting composed of Deputy Chairs, advisers, Secretary General, Deputy Secretary Generals, Department Directors and Deputy Directors of the NAA.    The meeting agendas were as follows: Progress report by the General Secretariat Report on the implementation of the Global Fund Projects Other business.    After opening the meeting, H. H. E. Sar Kheng Pays a Visit to the people of Roka Commune, Sangke District, Battambang Province

On December 20, 2014, H. E. Sar Kheng, Deputy Minister and Acting Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia accompanied by H. E. Ieng Mouly Senior Minister, Chairman of the National AIDS Authority (NAA) and H. E. Mam Bun Heng, Minister of Health paid a courtesy visit to approximately 700 villagers of Roka Commune, Sangke District, Battambang Province. After listening to the report and welcome remarks by H. E. Chan Sophal, Governor of Battambang Province, H. E. The Workshop on the Dissemination of the CEDAW Principles and the National Response to HIV/AIDS

On December 12, 2014, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H. E. Ieng Mouly, Senior Minister and Chairman of NAA presided over the workshop on the Dissemination of the CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women) Principles and the Response to HIV/AIDS.   Also particpating were the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Women Affairs and member of the National Council for Women, representatives of UNWOMEN, Excellencies, Lokchumteav, ladies and gentlemen Vice-Chairs of the NAA, speakers in the seminar, focal point persons, as well as officials and staff from government institutions and relevant NGOs, in total around 150 people.   In his opening speech, H. H. E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly Presides over the Opening Session of the Health System Strengthening Global Fund Concept Note Consultative Meeting

On December 11, 2014, at the New York Hotel, H. E. Ieng Mouly, Senior Minister, Chairman of NAA and Chairman of the Global Fund Country Coordinating Committee (CCC) presided over the Opening Session of the Health System Strengthening (HSS)  Global Fund Concept Note Consultative Meeting.   The workshop was held to debate and share ideas in developing an HSS concept note to actively contribute to the country and global movement of creating a world free of HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. On December 9, 2014, H. E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chairman of the NAA and Vice-Chairman of the National Task Force Assisting Kampong Speu province presided over a Quarterly Meeting in Boseth District, Kampong Speu province.
