
On afternoon of December 19, 2017, H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly hosted a meeting with Representatives of Cambodian People living with HIV Network to listen their concern over weakening support for their full participation and partnership in providing treatment and care services at grassroots level while implementing 2018-2020 HIV/AIDS control program.
H.E. Senior Minister responded by assuring representative team from People living HIV Network that the National AIDS Authority (NAA) recognizes the important contribution of the CPN+ working team to improvement of care services to their peers. On the morning of November 13, 29017 at the National AIDS Authority, H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly Chair of the National AIDS Authority presided over a consultative workshop on contribution of sub-national administration against HIV/AIDS in communes/Sangkats.
There were Excellencies, Lok Chumteav, Ladies and Gentlemen who are from health sector, non- health sector, representatives of key affected population and development partners (DP).
The aim of the workshop was to consult on facilitating mechanism roles, responsibilities resources required by Communes and Sangkats enabling them to take control HIV/AIDS in their respective community and going to forward to eliminate HIV transmission by 2025.

Similarly to global efforts, prevention of HIV transmission is the core strategic intervention to combat HIV/AIDS in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Contracting HIV could be happened to any individual at any age, place, and time without exception if not self-protected. As ever, sexual transmission remains major mode of new HIV infection without proper using of condom. We could not identify who is HIV carrier if blood test has not been done. It is self-obligation to avoid HIV infection by 100% using condom use.

On the morning of October 31, 2017 H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority (NAA) and Country Coordinating Committee (CCC) headed a meeting between members of CCC Executive Committee and Representatives of Key Affected Population (KAP) of the HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria in Cambodia.
