
At Cambodiana Hotel, on afternoon of September 28, 2017, H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, head of the National AIDS Authority chaired closing session consultative workshop on inclusion of poor households affected by HIV/AIDS in recruitment for ID Poor.
Participants were top leaders of NAA, UNAIDS Country Director, chief of all municipal and Provincial HIV/AIDS committees, Representative from Development Partners, representatives of people living with HIV and most affected population groups.
It should be reminded that 17 500 people living with HIV have been recruited and registered across the country as poor in the 41 hospitals who are subsidized by health equity fund package to cover operation cost for providing health services free of charge to the poor including those poor living with HIV. Half of health equity fund is financed by the Royal Government of Cambodia.
