 The National AIDS Authority (NAA) organized a blessing ceremony for fortune and prosperity, in welcoming the Khmer New Year, in the year of the rabbit, to the institution, leaders, and civil servants at all levels on Monday, April 10, 2023.
H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly and Lok Chumteav, along with leaders and civil servants of the NAA held a Khmer New Year celebration, with monks giving their blessings for health, prosperity, success, and happiness to all.
After the monk blessing ceremony, H.E. Ieng Mouly, Lok Chumteav, and the NAA leaders and civil servants watched the Khmer traditional blessing performance and the popular Cambodian folk dance called trot, dating back to the ancient periods, to bring in prosperity for the coming year.

Lay Khek, Advisor to the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (CMAA) and former member of the National Assembly in the 1st term, in the afternoon of Wednesday, March 22, 2023. The funeral was held at House Number 001, Street 606, Sangkat Boeung Kak, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh.
H.E. Chuon Chivin, a representative of the Cabinet of Samdech Techo Prime Minister, also attended the ceremony, bringing a message of condolence and a bereavement contribution of 10 million Riels from Samdech Techo Prime Minister and Samdech Kittiprittbandit to the family of the deceased.

...read more » The meeting was held to update the progress of GFATM implementation in Cambodia. It also provided the NAA a chance to inform the delegates about strengthening the NAA’s role and responsibility in leading, managing, and coordinating in the successful pursuit of the first 95 target by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS.
The NAA has worked tirelessly on prevention, programmatic costing, resource mobilization and use, and more to make sure that the Royal Government is committed to ending AIDS by 2025.
Additionally, H.E. Senior Minister requested GFATM delegates to double down on efforts to support Cambodia both technically and financially to end AIDS by 2025, particularly on the prevention measures for young MSMs.
