The meeting was held to update the progress of GFATM implementation in Cambodia. It also provided the NAA a chance to inform the delegates about strengthening the NAA’s role and responsibility in leading, managing, and coordinating in the successful pursuit of the first 95 target by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS.
The NAA has worked tirelessly on prevention, programmatic costing, resource mobilization and use, and more to make sure that the Royal Government is committed to ending AIDS by 2025.
Additionally, H.E. Senior Minister requested GFATM delegates to double down on efforts to support Cambodia both technically and financially to end AIDS by 2025, particularly on the prevention measures for young MSMs.
