The Joint Action Programme in the Great Mekong Sub-region

Cambodia delegates including HE Tia Phalla, vice chair of NAA, HE Teng Kunthy, secretary general, Dr. Ros Seilavath, deputy secretary general, and Mr. Ya Navuth, executive director of Caram, Cambodia are joining an annual regional meeting “The Joint Action Programme in the Great Mekong Sub-region”, in Bangkok, Thailand.   The meeting is aimed at reviewing progress, challenges, issues faced and opportunity for future cross border and regional collaboration in implementing the regional joint action plan for access to healthcare among migrants. A Cabinet Meeting of August 15, 2014

On August 15, 2014, a cabinet meeting was held at the Peace Palace under the chairmanship of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodiawith the participation of Excellencies and Lokchumteav members of the Cabinet.   The agendas of the meeting were as follows: Draft Law on Road Traffic. Draft Royal Decree on the Organization and Functioning of Cambodian National Council for Science and Technology. Other issues.   H. E. Cambodia AIDS 2014

The 20th International AIDS Conference winding up here in Melbourne, with latest estimates there are 36 million people worldwide affected by HIV, with almost 5 million of them in the Asia-Pacific. Cambodia however, has seen the HIV infection rate drop by almost two-thirds, thanks to government action and large funding from donors. July 19 in the evening at Raheen:   H. E. Senior Minister and Lok Chumteav attended a welcoming diner hosted by Australian Deputy Prime Minister Warenn Truss.
