We have formulated policies and carried out program activities to enhance Women and Gender development. This year the highlighted subject has been equity in education, which is important in the social development efforts and highly valuable statements of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Paddey Techo Hun Sen that women are the backbone of development.
Regarding the issues and challenges faced by women and children who are affected by HIV, the NAA has formulated policies and program activities which have helped women to have access to medical treatment, care, and social, psychological and economic support. Even though we have paid attention and care to promote women's Rights through our policies and program activities, we also need to apply them in our daily life both in the office and at home.
