In the afternoon of February 2nd, 2015, at the National AIDS Authority’s Headquarters a Top Management Meeting was organized. The meeting was under the patronage of H.E Ieng Mouly, Senior Minister in charge of Special Mission, Chair of the National AIDS Authority (NAA) and Chair of the Cambodia Global Fund Country Coordinating Committee (CCC).
Participants attended in the meeting were Excellencies NAA’s Vice Chairs, Advisors, Excellencies Ladies and Gentlemen, the Secretary General, Deputy Secretary Generals, Heads and Deputy Heads of Departments.

To begin H.E Chair warmly welcomed participation from Excellencies NAA’s Vice Chairs, Advisors, Excellencies Ladies and Gentlemen, the Secretary General, Deputy Secretary Generals, Heads and Deputy Heads of Departments, especially congratulated to H.E. Ly Penh Sun who has been appointed as the Director of the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STD, and a representative of H.E. Minister of Health, the 1st Vice Chair of the National AIDS Authority. Then H.E. Chair of NAA asked the Management Team of the Secretariat General to report to the meeting on activity progress made so far and the monthly activities plan to be carried out in 2015. The meeting heard about performance achieved from the Secretariat General and which issues need consultation and advice from top management so that appropriate and timely solutions or responses could be made.
The meeting also heard about the implementation of the Global Fund Project Activity by the NAA. It was updated about the development of the concept note according to the new funding model, and the need to prepared ourselves to respond to the submission requirements and implementing the projects when it is granted.
H.E Senior Minister summarised as follows:
He congratulated the NAA on outputs and outcomes that have been achieved through the performance of the Secretariat General and the Departments under it.
Highly appreciated all the officials that have fulfilled their duties carefully with discipline, unity and solidarity.
Advised all officials to continue carrying out their tasks with effectiveness, discipline and solidarity.
Advised the NAA and the MoH to continue good collaboration, such as exchanging data or information that is gathered from grassroots levels for instance in the case of Sangke, Battambang Province.
Advised on the need for field visits to assess the HIV/AIDS situation and the level of collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Advised on the need to convene the first policy board meeting of 2015 in the first quarter and to ensure preparation of all documents.
Advised H.E Tia Phalla to update all documents determined in the annual congress of 2014.
Advised the Department of Administration and Finance to review the national budget and its lines to make adjustment requests so that expenditure could be implemented according to prescribed guidelines and the law.
Advised the Secretariat General to review relevant laws and regulations and their application to enforce HIV/AIDS prevention and control.
Advised all departments to bring up to date all documents that need to be published through the NAA website.
Finally H.E. Chair of NAA introduced H.E. Choun Vuthy whose has been appointed as a new consultant for the National AIDS Authority, to the members of the meeting. At the end, H.E. Chair of NAA wished each member of the meeting get a success in their tasks. The meeting ended on the same day at 4:30 p.m.
