In the Morning of January 19^th, 2015 at Tonle Bassac 2 Restaurant, Phnom Penh, H.E Ieng Mouly Senior Minister, Chair of the National AIDS Authority  presided over the National Consultative Workshop on the Situation Update and Response Analysis and developing the Comprehensive National Strategic Plan and Multi-Sectorial Response to HIV/AIDS IV.

 

About 70 participants attended the workshop including H.E Secretaries of State of Labor and Vocational Training, Education Youth & Sport, and Tourism; H.E Vice Chairs, Secretary General, Deputy Secretary General and speakers, facilitators, officials and colleagues from Ministries/Institutions and relevant non-governmental organizations.

 

In his opening speech, H.E Senior Minister warmly welcomed His and Her Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen and expressed his gratitude for their valuable time and participation. He also greatly valued their good cooperation and contribution in this national consultative workshop. And moreover recommended that they join our journey to cut new HIV infections  by 2020.

 

H.E Senior Minister recommended that the workshop  exchange information and opinions to be used in the  development of the  Comprehensive National Strategic Plan and Multi-Sectorial Response to HIV/AIDS IV.

 

Finally H.E Senior Minister wished all participants  a successful workshop and declared the workshop open.
