The UN High-level Meeting on HIV/AIDS will kick off tonight at the UN Headquarters in New York.
The Cambodian delegation, led by Senior Minister H.E. Ieng Mouly, Chairman of the National AIDS Authority, will attend the opening session tonight via Videoconference, said Director of Cabinet of NAA, H.E. Sut Thangphann.
Besides the opening plenary meeting, ten Cambodian delegates will attend five thematic panels, including addressing the inequalities to end AIDS: 10 years to 2030, putting people and communities at the centre of the response to AIDS, resources and funding for an effective AIDS response, advancing gender equality and empowering women and girls in the AIDS response, and addressing the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the AIDS response and building b ...read more » In a virtual launch organized by UNAIDS Asia and the Pacific Office in Bangkok on Friday, June 4, H.E. Ieng Mouly, Senior Minister and Chair of the National AIDS Authority shared vital features of high performing countries and revealed Cambodian efforts in scaling up combination prevention programs to meet the needs of key populations including young key populations.
