H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly presides over CCC ExCom meeting

H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority and Chair of the CCC, presided over CCC ExCom meeting at the National AIDS Authority Head Office in the afternoon of June 26, 2015.

 
Those attending the meeting included:
 
  • Dr. Dong Il Ahn, representative of the World Health Organization to Cambodia and Vice Chair of the CCC;
  • Dr. Sok Thim, Co-Chair of the CCC Oversight Committee;
  • Mrs. Nicole Delaney, Senior FPM (Fund Portfolio Manager) of the Global Fund;
  • Mr. Heather Viola, Global Fund;
  • Mr. Soso Getsendra, Global Fund;
  • Ms. Ximena Navia Henao, Global Fund;
  • Dr. Muhammad Saleem, UNAIDS (Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS);
  • Mrs. Whitlock Carrie, representative of the US Embassy;
  • Mr. Cecil Haverkamp, NCHADS (National Centre for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STD Control);
  • Mr. Jan de Jong, Pricewaterhouse Coopers/Local Fund Agent; and
  • Dr. Chiv Bun Thi, Secretary of the CCC.
 
The following were the agenda of the meeting:
 
  • Clarification answers to questions raised by the Technical Review Panel (TRP) on the program project to fightAIDS and program project to strengthen health system;
  • Advice of the Global Fund on the preparation of reference documents and mission expenses;
  • Preparation of budget proposal of the Global Fund program project for the second year (June 1, 2015-May 31, 2016);
  • Updating of and negotiations on the proposed request for financing from Global Fund for the program project to fight AIDS and malaria and program project to strengthen the health system;
  • Updating pertaining to cash incentive to royal government officials and contractual officials participating in the implementation of the program projects financed by the Global Fund.
  • Other business.
 
Following the consultative discussion and approval of the agenda, the Senior Minister, Chair of the meeting, thanked all the participants for their active contributions to coordinating the management of the Global Fund’s aid to the Kingdom of Cambodia in its persistence to fight against AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria and helping to further strengthen the health system.
 
The meeting concluded at 5:30 p.m. of the same afternoon.
