NAA Monthly Top Management Meeting of September 2014

On September 30, 2014, at the National AIDS Authority (NAA) head office in Phnom Penh, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of H. E. Ieng Mouly, Senior Minister in charge of special mission of the Royal Government of Cambodia and Chair of NAA. The participants in the meeting were the Deputy Chairs, advisers, the Secretary General, the Deputy Secretary Generals and the Department Directors of the NAA.
 
 The meeting agenda was  as follows:
  1. Progress report by the General Secretariat
  2. Progress report on the preparation to bid hosting ICAAP 13 in 2017
  3. Report on the implementation of Global Fund Projects
  4. Report on the preparation for the policy board meeting and World AIDS Day on December 1st.
  5. Any Other business.
  
H. E. Senior Minister expressed his appreciation to all NAA management team and officials for their efforts which have been made in the fight against HIV/AIDS. He also encouraged the top management to further strengthen internal solidarity, maintain ethical and dignified values in working and daily life.
 
In connection with the preparation to bid for hosting ICCAP 13, H. E. Chairman advised that the top management team consult and work with relevant authorities and partners. They should compile supporting information and documentation such as: conference venue; transportation; accommodation and IT facilities for our candidacy to be successful .
 
H. E. Chairman also made his recommendation on points relating to the dissemination of information about HIV/AIDS and launching condom usage campaigns during the Water Festival and World AIDS Day.
