Excellency Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority, Vice-Chair of the Royal Government Working Group in Kampong Speu province, and Chair of the Royal Government Working Group in Borsedth district presided over a workshop on Land Sector-related Work for Local Authorities in Kampong Speu province
On Thursday afternoon, 19 June, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. at the Vei Samnang meeting hall of Kampong Speu Provincial Administration, His Excellency Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority, Vice-Chair of the Royal Government Working Group in Kampong Speu province, and Chair of the Royal Government Working Group in Borsedth district presided over a workshop on Land Sector-related Work for Local Authorities in Kampong Speu province.
Participating in the workshop were: H.E. Bin Trachhey, Minister of Planning, Deputy Chair of the Royal Government Working Group in Kampong Speu province and Chair of the Royal Government Working Group in Aoral district, H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State, Office of the Council of Ministers, Chair of the Legal Working Group Assisting H.E. Chair of the Royal Government Working Group in Kampong Speu province, Representatives of Kampong Speu Provincial Administration (Deputy Governor in Charge of Land, Deputy Director of Administration, Director of Inter-Sectoral Management of Provincial Administration, Provincial Department of Land Management, Urban Planning and Cadastre, and officials), Governors of districts, Deputy Governors of districts, Directors of Administration, Heads of the Office of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Land Administration, Heads of the Office of Legal Affairs and Dispute Mediation of districts, Commune Chiefs, Commune Clerks, Village Chiefs of Borseth and Aoral districts, Kampong Speu province, as well as top management of the National AIDS Authority (accompanying the Senior Minister), approximately 350 people.
After the opening speech by the Senior Minister, the workshop proceeded with the following presentations:
1. Administrative Affairs of Commune, Sangkat and Village Authorities by Mr. Eng Keoratanak, Director of the Department of Functions and Resources and Mr. Meas Chhivhun, Deputy Director of the Department of Municipal, District, Commune and Sangkat Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of Interior.
2. Land Sector for Commune, Sangkat and Village Authorities by Mr. Chhy Leang, Deputy Director-General of the General Department of Cadastre and Geography of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction.
3. Legal Responsibilities of Commune, Sangkat and Village Authorities by H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State, Office of the Council of Ministers and Head of the Legal Working Group Assisting H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many, Chair of the Royal Government Working Group in Kampong Speu Province.
