H.E Senior Minister Ieng Mouly Presides Over the October 2024 NAA Leaders' Meeting
In the afternoon of Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024, from 3:00 PM, the National AIDS Authority organized a meeting of the October 2024 leader meeting. Under the high presidency of HE Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the NAA. The meeting was attended by H.E, Lok Chumteav, Ladies and Gentlemen, Deputy Chair, Advisor, the Secretary General, Chief of the Cabinet, Deputy Secretary General, Director of the Department and Deputy Director of the Department at Meeting Hall B.
The agenda of the meeting includes:
1- Opening remarks by the Senior Minister, Chairman.
2- Report on the National Policy to End AIDS and the Sustainability of the AIDS Program for 2023-2028 by the NAA Vice Chairs, Director General in Charge of Policy:
- H.E Kong Ratha: General Management Report.
- H.E Tea Phalla: The first policy report on strengthening the national multi-sectoral response to HIV and AIDS, the sixth policy on resource mobilization and the seventh policy on strengthening the monitoring and evaluation system.
- H.E Ung Phirun and/or H.E Sim Suyeng: The second policy on expanding, strengthening and accelerating the prevention program and the third policy on expanding, strengthening and accelerating the care and treatment program.
- Lok Chumteav Sim Kheng Kham: The fifth policy on ending discrimination and stigma and to increase the coverage rate of preventive programs among adolescent girls and young women.
- H.E Lan Vanseng: The second policy on accelerating the coverage of biomedical prevention programs, such as early detection and treatment, and the third policy on accelerating the coverage of treatment programs.
- H.E Sim Kimsen: The second policy is to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
- H.E Ros Silavath: The second policy is to accelerates the coverage of prevention programs among the key population. The fourth policy is to expand, strengthen and accelerate social protection programs.
- H.E Hor Bunleng: Policy 7 is to strengthen the effectiveness of the monitoring and evaluation system.
- H.E Chea Por: The second policy is to accelerate the coverage of prevention programs on radio, television, press, and social media.
- H.E Sim Kimsan: The second policy is to strengthen the 100% condom policy.
- H.E Chhim Khin Dareth: General Coordinator and Outcome of NAA Technical Meeting.
