Accompanying the delegation were His Excellency the Consul General of Cambodia to Thailand, Lok Chumteav, Deputy Governor and Director of Banteay Meanchey Provincial Health Department, as well as representatives of civil society organizations working on AIDS (HACC & AHF).

The Thai side welcomed the delegation, including Mr. Chawwanate Yimprasert, Deputy Governor of Sa Kaeo Province, Director of Sa Kaeo Provincial Health Department, Director of Aranyaprathet Hospital, Office of Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases and HIV/AIDS of the Thai Ministry of Health, as well as representatives of civil society organizations working on AIDS (AHF, SWING & Global Vision).

The visit is a study to pave the way for cooperation in managing the spread of HIV/AIDS among Cambodian workers who cross the border and are working in Thailand.
