Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority (NAA), presided over a ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the reception area of the Por Chamroeun Health Center and to officially open the health center in Por Chamroeun Commune, Borsedth District, Kampong Speu on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 8 a.m.
Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, who is also Chair of the Royal Government Working Group for Borsedth District, presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony with the attendance of H.E. Satya Vuth, Member of Parliament for Kampong Speu, H.E., Dr. Heng Sok Kong, 1st Vice-Chair of the Royal Government Working Group for Borsedth District, His Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, ladies and gentlemen of the Royal Government Working Group for Borsedth District.
H.E. Senior Minister, on that occasion, thanked those who voted for the Cambodian People's Party, allowing for a landslide victory in the entire district of Borsedth and for maintaining peace, social stability, and national development.
Senior Minister Ieng Mouly also thanked Mr. Prak Sophal, H.E. Prak Sonnara, and Dr. Prak Sonnarith for their generous donations toward the construction of a three-room health center: a waiting room, a maternity ward, and a staff room.
In addition, TB treatment rooms have been renovated, equipment that were once in short supply were installed in the health centers, and many solar lights have been installed in pagodas, commune halls, party offices, schools, administrative posts, and public roads.
Furthermore, H.E. Senior Minister presented medals and the Royal Orders that His Majesty presented to the leaders of Por Chamroeun commune and to 7 philanthropists.
These medals include:
1) The Medal of National Merit
2) The Grand Cross of the Royal Order of the Kingdom of Cambodia
3) The Commander of the Royal Order of the Kingdom of Cambodia
4) The Officer of the Royal Order of the Kingdom of Cambodia
