On January 10, 2014 at the Peace Palace, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia presided over a meeting of the Council of Ministers with the following agenda:

1.       Draft National Strategy on the Supplies of Clean Water and on the Upgrading of Hygiene in the Rural Area (2014 -2025).

2.       Draft Sub – Decree Prohibiting  Smoking in Workplace and in Public.

3.       Draft Sub – Decree in the Code of Ethics of Pharmacist.

4.       Other businesses.

        Senior Minister Ieng  Mouly, Chairman of the National AIDS Authority also participated in the meeting. 

        After long exchange of views, the Council of Ministers approved the draft national strategy on clean water supplies and the draft sub-decree on the Code of Ethics of Pharmacist. Regarding the sub-decree on prohibiting smoking in work place and in public, the Council of Ministers approved, in principles, the issuance of the sub-decree, but the council requested the Ministry of Public Health to re-arrange the wording so that the sub-decree can he implemented smoothly.
