
H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority (NAA), provided recommendation for the 3rd Inter-Ministerial Technical Working Group Meeting to occur on the morning of Thursday, July 6, 2023, to review and draft the national policy to End AIDS by 2025 and the Sustainability of the AIDS program for 2023-2028.
The meeting was chaired by H.E., Dr. Tia Phalla, Vice Chair of the NAA and Chair of the Inter-Ministerial Technical Working Group to formulate the policy to End AIDS by 2025 and the Sustainability of the AIDS program for 2023-2028, and had the participation of relevant members, totaling 20 people.
The meeting proceeded with the agenda as follows:
1. Welcoming remarks by H.E., Dr. Tia Phalla, Vice Chair of the NAA
2. Presentation by H.E., Dr. Hor Bunleng, Vice Chair of the NAA and Vice Chair of the Inter-Ministerial Technical Working Group to formulate the policy to End AIDS by 2025 and Sustainability of the AIDS program for 2023-2028
3. Discussions
4. Summary of the meeting results by H.E., Dr. Tia Phalla
Following the approval of the Royal Government's Resolution through Resolution 003, dated January 9, 2023, an inter-ministerial technical working group was formed to formulate he policy to End AIDS by 2025 and Sustainability of the AIDS program for 2023-2028. This national policy was discussed and organized into two chapters, divided into the following seven national policies:

1. The HIV/AIDS situation in Cambodia
2. The comprehensive and multi-sectoral response to HIV/AIDS in Cambodia
3. The gaps in the comprehensive and multi-sectoral response to HIV/AIDS in Cambodia
4. The United Nations' (UN) commitment to end HIV/AIDS and ASEAN's statement on HIV/AIDS
5. Setting priorities toward ending HIV/ AIDS in Cambodia by 2025
