H.E. Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority, presides over the veteran's medal award ceremony on June 20 and June 21, 2023

H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority and Chair of the Government Working Group for Borsedth District of Kampong Speu Province, presided over a meet and greet ceremony and presented medals to 602 veterans at Wat Borsedth Chas or Old Borsedth Pagoda on Tuesday, June 20 and Wednesday, June 21, 2023. The ceremony was also attended by Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, the Governor of Borsedth District, and other relevant government officials.

Senior Minister Ieng Mouly encouraged and showed gratitude to veterans who sacrificed their physical and mental strength, time, those who became disabled, and those who even lost their lives. H.E. Ieng Mouly also remarked that the nation is growing and developing through peace, thanks to the participation of our veterans. Peace is crucial in prosperity and development and needs to be safeguarded for the next generations to come.

Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, on that special occasion, awarded 63 gold medals and 539 silver medals, along with a donation of 50,000 Riels each to 602 veterans as a gift from Samdech Techo, Prime Minister.
