H.E. Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority (NAA), granted an interview to the Director of the Cambodian Health and Education for Community (CHEC) to create a documentary on the comprehensive and multi-sectoral national strategic plan to respond to HIV/AIDS in Cambodia, on the morning of May 5, 2023.
The Kingdom of Cambodia is promoting a unified national movement to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and achieve the 95-95-95 targets by 2025. Cambodia's central policy is to end inequality, end HIV/AIDS, and end epidemics by focusing on the activities related to MSM, mother-to-child transmissions, finding the missing PHLIVs, having wider prevention, care and treatment, and providing better social protection for all with HIV, leaving no one behind.
Additionally, the NAA, an institution of the Royal Government, works in a multi-sectoral manner to monitor and coordinate with relevant ministries, institutions, and development partners to strengthen the national system. Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, has called on all citizens to join the Royal Government in the current national movement to achieve the 95-95-95 targets by 2025.
