The National AIDS Authority (NAA) held the Management Leadership Team Meeting, with the participation of senior NAA members, on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 9 A.M., under the chairmanship of His Excellency Ieng Mouly, Chair of the NAA. The leadership meeting was organized to review the completed works and for a follow-up action plan to be implemented.
Senior Minister Ieng Mouly stated that the goals that are to be achieved are as follows:
1. Support the agenda of the 2nd Technical Working Group Meeting, presented by H.E. Dr. Chhim Khindareth, Secretary General and Chairman of the Technical Working Group of the National AIDS Authority, emphasizing the ways and means to successfully attain the first 95 target
2. For H.E. Tia Phalla to study the concept of risk perception and create educational materials for a team to be sent to explain at universities
3. Re-establish a team to monitor the supply and distribution of condoms, asking for detailed information from distributors
4. Learn more about how to organize the identity of the key population groups
5. Ask "what have we done and what do we need to continue to do to be successful in policy implementation?"
6. Ask the National Center for AIDS, Dermatology and STIs (NCHADS) to provide details on the results of the search for the missing old cases and new infection cases (How many?)
7) Consider the financial incentive for people to get blood tested. (Can it work?)
8) Organize a team to create social media posts.
