The Meeting on the establishment of the core technical working group to formulate the HIV/AIDS Ending Policy in 2025 and the sustainability of the HIV/AIDS program for 2023-2028

On Wednesday, January 4th, 2023, at 3 pm, the Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority, Chaired the Meeting on the establishment of the core technical working group to formulate the HIV/AIDS Ending Policy in 2025 and the Sustainability of the HIV/AIDS Program for 2023-2028, which was issued by the National AIDS Authority by the National AIDS Authority Decision n: 431 dated December 5, 2022.

The meeting was attended by the NAA Vice Chairs: H.E Tia Phalla, H.E  Hor Bunleng, H.E Ros Seilavath and  Excellency  Secretary General Chhim  Khindareth.

On this occasion, H.E Senior Minister gave key recommendations to the core working group to integrate all aspects of prevention, treatments, care and support, in accordance with the Rectangular Strategy, the National Development Strategy Plan and  the  Sustainability  for HIV/AIDS Response in order to ensure that this policy is fully implemented in both  health and non-health sectors. The National AIDS Authority will submit the draft policy to ending HIV/AIDS in 2025 with the sustainability of the HIV/AIDS program for 2023-2028 to the Royal Government for endorsement and use it as one of the national implementation documents for HIV/AIDS response in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
