Annual Conference of the National AIDS Authority 2022 at VININA BOUTIQUE HOTEL, Preah Sihanouk Province, chaired by H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority.
The National AIDS Authority held the annual conference of 2022, chaired by his Excellency, Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, on Thursday , November 24th 2022 , at 8:30 a.m. at VININA BOUTIQUE HOTEL in Preah Sihanouk Province.
The meeting was attended by His Excellencies, Vice Chairs, Advisors, Secretary General, other responsible National AIDS Authority leaders, all line ministries and provinces, NGOs, and civil societies with a total of 171 members in participation.
Members discussed a wide range of issues, focusing on: the progress of equity card issuance, the HIV response experience; HIV/AIDS awareness in the ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the Involvement of civil societies in the HIV/AIDS multi- sectoral response, the achievement and Mid-Term review Assessment.
Senior Minister extensively recommended :
1) To jointly implement a comprehensive and multi-sectoral strategic Plan on HIV /AIDS.
2) To ensure a sustainable HIV/AIDS response.
3) To improve and extend interventions.
4) To strengthen and expand prevention, testing, care and treatment services.
5) The sub-national level must cooperate by promoting the procedures of distribution and use of the national budget.
6) To continue the 100% condom use program.
7) To increase accessibility to social protection mechanisms and social protection services.
8) To urge for both national and international support.
