Result of the National AIDS Authority Management Team Meeting On Friday, September 16, 2022
Result of the NAA Management Team Meeting On Friday, September 16, 2022 at 9:00 am, the National AIDS Authority held the technical meeting of the NAA Management Team under the high chairmanship of HE Senior Minister. Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority.
The meeting was attended by His Excellencies Vice Chair, Advisor, Secretary General, Deputy Chief of Cabinet and Acting Director of the Department of Administration and Finance at the Meeting Room "B".
The meeting proceeded according to the following agenda:
1) Opening remarks made by HE Senior Minister, Chair of the National AIDS Authority.
2) The objectives of the 9th Technical Advisory Board Meeting 2022 made by HE Dr. Chhim Khindareth, Secretary General of the National AIDS Authority.
3) The content of the meeting on the Sustainability Working Group on HIV / AIDS Response made by HE Dr. Ros Seilavath, Vice Chair of the National AIDS Authority.
4) Recommendations made by His Excellency Senior Minister, Chair of the National AIDS Authority.
After the presentation and discussion, H.E. Senior Minister made the following recommendations:
1) Expressed appreciation for the results of the 8th Technical Advisory Board Meeting on August 25, 2022.
2) Pay more attention to the growing trend of HIV transmission among the target group, particularly, men who have sex with men (MSM).
3) Congratulations should be made to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on the integration of the HIV / AIDS topic into curriculum and encouragement should be proposed to the Ministry to update HIV and AIDS knowledge in the curriculum.
4) Continue working with the relevant ministries and institutions, especially the Ministry of Tourism on HIV prevention and campaign.
5) Instruct the 15 provincial capitals on the spending plan for 80 million riels and 60 million riels approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
6) Request the National Center for AIDS, Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Infections (NCHADS) and provincial capitals to provide detailed information on HIV and AIDS data, especially the death related to AIDS.
