Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority Meet with New UNAIDS Country Director to Cambodia, Laos and Malaysia

On the morning of June 8, 2022, from 09.00 a.m., Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority met with Ms. Patricia Ongpin, new UNAIDS Country Director to Cambodia, Laos and Malaysia. After holding her new position, the new Country Director requested for a courtesy call to share and exchange experiences.

Concerning the development of Cambodia, Ms Patricia Ongpin expressed her support and praised on the achievement in every field. For HIV and AIDS response, Cambodia has been at the forefront in Asia and the Pacific, she added. Furthermore, the new director pledged to strengthen cooperation with the National AIDS Authority to achieve the 95-95-95 target by 2025.
