Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority Presides over the NAA Top Management Team Meeting at NAA Meeting Room B
On the morning of April 19, 2022, from 09.00 a.m., Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority presided over the NAA Top Management Team Meeting. The meeting was participated by Vice-Chairs, Advisors, Secretary General, Director of Cabinet and Director of Administration and Finance department at the NAA Meeting Room B
The meeting was held to monitor on the performance that have been doing and to revise on necessary tasks for achieving the 95-95-95 target by 2025. The Senior Minister said that tasks that NAA have to work on and achieve were as follows:
1) Search for those who were lost and did not go in the system
2) Prevent new infection among MSM and Key Population
3) Universal Guidelines on HIV and AIDS Precaution
4) Implement the letter number 213 issued by the Office of the Council of Ministers on HIV and AIDS Response Measures
5) Implement the Fast-Track Cities Initiative for HIV and AIDS Response in Phnom Penh, Battambang, Siem Reap and Banteay Meanchey.
As a result of the discussions, the Senior Minister concluded the meeting and recommended that:
1) The Secretary General draft the agenda of the Technical Board meeting then submit to the Top Management Team for review and comment every month
2) Dr Tia Phalla and the Secretary General recommend NCHADS for the exact number of new HIV infection and death
3) The NAA Top Management raise the issues of HIV infection among MSM in every field trip
4) Dr Hor Bunleng draft guidelines for ending AIDS in Cambodia
5) The Secretary General put the draft Sub-Decree on Universal Guidelines on HIV and AIDS Precaution in the next Technical Board monthly meeting for discussion and other issues if time given
6) Dr Tia Phalla organize technical meeting in 2022.
