Senior Minister His Excellency Ieng Mouly Greets His Excellency Dr. Donald Kaberuka, Chair of Global Fund Board, Arriving To Visit Kingdom of Cambodia, at Phnom Penh International Airport

Senior Minister His Excellency Ieng Mouly greeted and held a working meeting with His Excellency Dr. Donald Kaberuka, Chair of the Global Fund Board, at Phnom Penh International Airport on the morning of October 30, 2019.
 
HE Dr. Donald Kaberuka was elected Chairman of the Global Fund Board in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 3, 2019, for the 2019-2021 term. While being Rwanda's Minister of Finance from 1997 to 2005, he used to serve as Governor for Rwanda for the World Bank and International Monetary Fund from 1997 to 2005 as well. Later, he held the position as Chair of the African Development Bank’s Board of Governors from 2005 to 2015.
 
He has selected Cambodia, on his trip to attend regional meetings, to scrutinize the results of implementing the program to fight AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria funded by the Global Fund.
 
During this working visit, HE Dr. Donald Kaberuka will also hold a working meeting with His Excellency Akka Bandit Sapheacha Aun Porn Moniroth, deputy prime minister and minister of Economy and Finance, at the ministry.
