Senior Minister His Excellency Ieng Mouly, High Representative of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Attends Global Fund’s Sixth Replenishment Conference in Lyon, France

On behalf of France, the country ranked second in providing financial assistance to the Global Fund and host of the Sixth Replenishment Conference, French President Emmanuel Macron has invited Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to participate in the conference to be held in Lyon, France.
 
In response to the invitation, Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, has assigned Senior Minister His Excellency Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority and Global Fund Board member of the Western Pacific Region Constituency, as his high representative to attend the above-mentioned conference. 
 
It is worth recalling that this conference is an international one set up in 2002 and convened every three years to gather together donor countries, the international private sector, civil society organizations, and aid recipient nations to raise funds for the Global Fund to combat AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. The funds from this fundraising event will be used for the programmed project to combat AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria all over the world from 2021 to 2023.
