H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly received a courtesy visit of KHNANA executive director

On the morning of July 5, 2019, at the National AIDS Authority, H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly received a courtesy visit of Mr. Choub Sok Chamroeun, executive director KHANA to discuss on contribution and efforts in public private partnership to fight TB-AIDS. 

 

In the name of the Chair of the National AIDS Authority (NAA) and a Board Member of the Global Fund Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) for Western Pacific Constituency, KHANA requested advice and support from H.E. Chair to enable civil and non-governmental organizations to further engage in control AIDS-TB through a comprehensive mechanism of multi-sectorial approach and public private partnership. A role model multi-sectorial response by civil and nongovernmental organizations for TB-AIDS could be also copied and implemented to fight TB among general population.

H.E. Senior Minister accepted request and advised civil and non-governmental organization to align with existing structure and policy of the Royal Government and to contribute to efforts as complementary and supportive especially in the community levels.

Furthermore, H.E Senior Minister suggested finding feasible ways and considering best experiences and practices how civil and non-governmental organizations able to better engage in fighting TB-AIDS.
