His Excellency Senior Minister Ieng Mouly met Cambodia UNAIDS Director

On the June 11, 2019m at the NAA’s headquarter H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly Chair of the National AIDS Authority (NAA) met UNAIDS Director for Cambodia, Dr. Vladanka ANDREEVA.
H.E. Senior Minster and the UNAIDS Country Director have discussed on cooperation arrangement between UNAIDS Cambodia and the National AIDS Authority for efforts to control and to response HIV/AIDS in Cambodia.
Since Cambodia has set ambiguous goal to eliminate HIV transmission by 2025, there are a lot of areas of focus and priorities that need to be done such as resource mobilization, technical assistance from UNAIDS, enhancement of public private partnership (PPP), reduction of stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV, Mother to child transmission, further strengthening facilitation mechanism for multi-sector response especially how to successfully implement directive of the Royal Government of Cambodia No 213 date February 21, 2019.
