H.E Senior Minister Ieng Mouly met UNAIDS Country Coordinator Ms. Marie-Odile EMOND for a farewell visit and welcomed Dr. Vladanka ANDREEVA, new UNAIDS Coordinator in Cambodia

On the morning of May 2, 2017 at the National AIDS Authority’s Headquarter, H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority (NAA) received the courtesy visit of outgoing UNAIDS Coordinator, Ms. Marie-Odile EMOND and Dr. Vladanka ANDREEVA, new UNAIDS Country Representative to Cambodia. Ms. Marie-Odile EMOND highly appreciated Cambodia achievement of controlling HIV epidemic and greatly valued leadership of NAA top management not only for combatting HIV/AIDS but treasured contribution and initiative to the Global Fund Country Coordinating Committee. Ms. EMOND expressed her profound gratitude to H.E. Senior Minister for his abundant supports to her mission in Cambodia and she regrets to leave Cambodia and highly regarded colleagues here. Ms. Outgoing UNAIDS Country Coordinator has introduced her succeeding Dr. Vladanka ANDREEVA, new Country Coordinator in Cambodia. H.E. Senior Minister has warmly welcomed Dr. ANDREAVA for her new assignment in Cambodia and wishing her a successful mission to help Cambodia to further accomplish reduction of new HIV transmission and will be able virtually eliminate HIV by 2025 as targeted.
