H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly presided over 5th CCC meeting

At the National AIDS Authority’s headquarter; on the afternoon of February 9, 2017, the 5th meeting in 2016-2017 mandate of Country Coordinating Committee (CCC) was organized under the presidency of H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority and Chair of the CCC. Participated to the meeting, there were members of the Committee, representatives from relevant Government Ministries/Institutions, representatives from WHO, UNAIDS, the donors Embassies: France, USA and Germany, Civil society, Non-governmental organizations working in HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, local fund agents (LFA). The meeting agenda was following:

• Reviewing grant packages provided by the Global Fund/adjustment based on CCC request

• Examining additional guideline by the GF/CCC request for grant disbursement upon budget absorption

• Progress of developing proposals and information update by Principal Recipients (PR)

• Update on CCC Executive Committee (EXCOM)

• AOB To begin,

H.E. Senior Minister welcomed participants to the meeting and asked for comments and endorsement of the meeting agenda and declaring for conflict of interest if any. The meeting looked at GF grant packages and adjustment proposed by the CCC. Key decision made was:

o Supporting for program split o Options for program activities for Resilient and Sustainable System for Health (RSSH)

and o Next steps for RSSH The meeting also examined the preparation progress of HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria program proposals presented by Principal Recipients. It should be noted that from 2018 to 2020 the Global Fund will provide grant of 98.3 million US dollars for the disease control programs as below: 1. HIV/AIDS: USD 41.5 millions 2. Tuberculosis: USD 13.8 millions 3. Malaria USD 43 millions At the end of meeting, H.E. Senior Minister, Chair of the meeting express sincere thanks to all participants: representatives from relevant Government Ministries/Institutions, representatives from WHO, UNAIDS, the donors Embassies: France, USA and Germany, Civil society, Non-governmental organizations, for their important inputs and active participation.
