H.E. Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, headed CCC retreat

On the morning of December 21, 2016, at the Hotel Sunway, H.E. Ieng Mouly,  Senior Minister, Chair of the National AIDS Authority delivered an opening remark at the retreat of the Global Fund Country Coordinating Committee (CCC).

Participated in the gathering  were CCC members, representatives of Government institutions, Development Partners, Donors, Civil societies, Key population, consultants and experts.

The purpose of meeting is to apprehend the new funding model of the Global Fund, changes of policies, conditions of grants, preparation of project proposals, facilitation mechanism for administering and implementing  project grants and to serve as Country dialogue for the future  formulation  of project proposals in response to the need of key population in fighting HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria.

It is to remind that in the last 13 years, the Global Fund has disbursed approximately 415 Million USD for the projects fighting HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and malaria and strengthening health care system in Cambodia. From 2018 to 2020, the Global Fund also planned to fund 98,445,151 USD to combat the three diseases.
