Senior Minister Ieng Mouly, Chair of the National AIDS Authority, announced the appointment of some top managers of the authority on the morning of October 17, 2019.
On that occasion, Senior Minister Ieng Mouly commended and thanked all the top leaders and officials for their contribution in carrying out works for the National AIDS Authority in the mission of leading and coordinating HIV/AIDS control for the sake of our Cambodia.
He reminded and encouraged the new appointed officials to continue to make more active contributions, because the task of preventing and responding to the spread of HIV/AIDS requires, at all times, participation of all movements, sectors, and individuals from everywhere as a sustainable national movement. Even though our Cambodia has achieved successes, the spread of HIV may surge strongly again if each of us becomes negligent.
It should be mentioned that Pharmacist Chhim Khin Dareth has been appointed new Secretary General after Dr. Teng Kunthy has retired from the public service and been appointed by the King as Deputy Chair of the National AIDS Authority.
At the request of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Baromneath Norodom Sihamoni, the King of the Kingdom of Cambodia promoted Mr. Tea Phalla vice chair of the National AIDS Authority to the rank of Minister, and several other top leaders of the authority as vice chairs, advisers, and chief of cabinet as well.
